2-1-1
2-1-1
We need your help to ensure federal 2-1-1 legislation passes this year. Please take a moment today to contact your Representative and Senators and ask for their support of the Calling for 2-1-1 Act. While the bill (H.R. 211 in the House, S. 211 in the Senate) enjoys significant bi-partisan support, members of Congress need to hear from you, their constituents, in order to ensure the bill is considered and passed. Your voice will truly make a difference. Currently available in 80% of the country, 2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember number that helps people cut through what can be a confusing and overwhelming maze of information and resources. 2-1-1 helps people assess their needs and links them directly to the resources that will help. Whether a person is contemplating starting a small business, looking for volunteer opportunities in his/her community or seeking information on essential services, 2-1-1 is there to help.

Is there another way to get information about available services?
United Way provides an online directory of health and human services available in Morgan County. By visiting http://mcunitedway.qwestoffice.net you can access an online database of services available like those available to callers throughout the United Way 2-1-1 phone service. (When you type a word or phrase to search for in "Services or Agency" please know that single words will get more results than multiple words. Be sure to choose Morgand County too. What you enter here finds terms used to categorize services not the program themselves.)
Note:
The database information was provided to United Way by the agencies and organizations themselves. The fact that an organization is or is not listed is not an endorsement or lack of an endorsement of the purpose, method or quality of service. In addition, errors and omissions, whether typographical, clerical or otherwise do sometimes occur, and may occur anywhere within the body of this database. This database is continually being reviewed and revised for additions, corrections and deletions. If you searched this site but could not find the resources you need, or if you're with an organization that would like to be listed or update you record, call (970) 867-2218.
